Stud your own sweater

Take a look at any online clothing store and you’ll see that there will be at least one studded item there. But, did you know you can stud anything you want, yourself? It’s really easy to do and studding a sweater (for example) adds glamour to any outfit. Just by adding a studded sweater to jeans and trainers will go from casual to classy. So, let’s get into the tutorial!

What you need:
. Studs (mine were £2.50 from a craft store for 16) Make sure the studs have little ‘teeth/spikes’ on the back.
. An old sweater, top, jeans, dress etc.
What to do:
  1. Take your stud and place it on your sweater where you want to attach it.
  2. Turn the sweater inside out and make sure all the ‘teeth’ of the stud are sticking out.
  3. (If you can) Press down the ‘teeth’ of the stuf with your finger or nail.
  4. Make sure they’re all firmly pressed down.
  5. To attach them more firmly, take a pair of scissors and push them onto the stud’s ‘teeth’.
  6. Turn your sweater out and see how awesome your stud looks!
  7. Repeat this until your finished pattern is completed.
You’re done! If you try this out make sure to tweet me at @FlosBeauty or submit a picture. Thank you for reading and happy new year everyone!
