Crown Braid

In this piece I’ll be telling you 2 ways of how to get the must-have Crown Braid! This is perfect for a formal event, school and pretty much anything. It takes up to 5 minutes so if you’re in a rush it’s quick and easy!
What you need:
. Hairbrush
. Bobby pins
. Hair tie
. (optional) Hairspray
Crown Braid Number 1:
  1. If you want a clean neat braid brush your hair until all tangles and messiness is gone. If you want your braid to be more messy skip this part. For a more messy braid you can tease your hair with a comb.
  2. Bring all of your hair together and scrape back your hair into a high ponytail and secure with a hair tie (clear hair elastics are better, as they keep your hair hidden)
  3. Now separate the ponytail into two sections.
  4. Take the first section and braid it from top to bottom. You can secure the end of it with a hair elastic if you find that easier.
  5. Take the section that you’ve braided and bring it to the front of your head.
  6. Pin it on the top of your hair with several bobby pins.
  7. Do the same with the other section of the ponytail.
  8. Tuck any loose pieces of hair into the braids you’ve made.
  9. (optional) Use hairspray to keep everything in place.
Crown Braid Number 2:
  1. Do the same as Step 1 on the first tutorial.
  2. Split your hair into two sections and braid your hair like you would for two pigtails. (see example here)
  3. Secure with hair ties. (clear hair elastics are better)
  4. Now like you did in the first tutorial take one of the braids and pin it to the top of your head with bobby pins.
  5. Do the same with the other side.
  6. (optional) Use hairspray to keep everything in place.
TIP: You can pull little bits of hair out of the braids to make it look messier!
